Product Specifications

Customize the size of this plastic name tag with a limit of 2 to 12 square inches. The tag size will affect the size of your engraved logo and text as well as the number of text lines that will fit on the tag. Made of two-ply plastic, the tag will have one color for the surface and another for the engraving. Personalize the color combination and select the font, fastener and style.

ART REQUIREMENTS: Send us your logo in a vector art file (.ai, .cdr, .eps or .pdf) to guarnatee the highest quality possible.

REORDERS: You won't need to pay another setup fee for future orders using this approved layout, and production will be much faster.

FASTENER: Our most popular option is the deluxe magnetic fastener ($1.10 per tag). We also have standard fasteners such as pins and bulldog clips.

TEXT: One to four lines

FONT: Select from an extensive list of standard fonts. Custom fonts are available upon request. You may have to send us a font file that is PC compatible. If this is the case, a customer service representative will let you know. Email the font file and your order confirmation number to nametag@nametag.com.

STYLE: Choose round or square corners and select beveled or square cut edges.

DOME FINISH: Protect the name tag surface from damage by adding an epoxy dome finish.

SET-UP FEE: $25; the set-up fee covers the preparation of the original tag design; reorders with unchanged layouts will not have additional set-up costs.

PRODUCTION: Orders of up to 99 name tags are shipped within one business day; a dome finish adds one extra production day.

To find the total tag cost, follow these steps:

Additional square inches = ((height x width)-3) round down to the nearest integer) x price for each additional inch.
Total Price = Additional square inches + tag price from the table.

You will need to figure out the total square inches for the custom size. Do this by multiplying the height by the width.
Once you have the total square inches for your custom size, subtract three. This number comes from the three square inches included in all tags. Round down to the nearest integer.
Now that you know how many additional square inches your custom size requires, you need to calculate the extra cost per name tag. Do this by multiplying the additional square inches by the price found in the pricing table. NOTE: This cost is variable due to quantity discounts.
After figuring out how much these additional square inches will cost, add that cost to the original name tag price also located in the pricing table. This number will give you the total cost per name tag. If you need to know what your total order cost will be, take the cost per name tag and multiply it by the number of tags you are ordering.
