Horizontal Ribbons with Taped Top and pinked ends
Capture the attention of your customers with vibrant multi-color ribbons. It is as simple attaching each ribbon to a name badge or name tag. These ribbons may include gradients, blends and photographic images, making them a great way to promote a sale or event.
Minimum Order: 100 ribbons
IMAGE AREA: 1.625x4 inch ribbon has an approximate image area of 1.125x4 inches. 2x4 inch ribbon has an approximate image area of 1.5x4 inches.
We understand that you may not have the tools, time, or skill to design the ribbons you want: we are here to help. Most ribbon designs require less than the 30 minutes of art time that is included in the $30 set-up fee, if additional time is necessary you will be advised prior to proceeding. When approved, additional work will be charged at $60 per hour.

If you have a design that is ready to be printed, send it to us and you will receive our special set-up pricing of $15. Vector art with all text converted to curves or a high quality (300 dpi) bit-mapped file (.jpg or .tiff) is required. Your art will be reviewed by our designers and if additional work is required you will be advised of the estimated set-up costs before we proceed with your order.
Please enter the text you would like on your ribbons using upper and lower case letters, as you would like it to appear on the final product.
You may describe your ideas for the design of the ribbons. Please include such details as colors, background colors, text color and placement. If you have an image you want us to work from feel free to upload/email it with your order. In this case the quality of the art file is not important. You may scan in a design sketched on a napkin -- or almost any other image file showing your idea. You will recieve a proof for your approval prior to production.
A designer will review your artwork and advise you if adjustments are required for the process you have selected. Additional charges may apply if changes to your artwork are necessary.
Vector art is the required format for all engraved products. UV Color Logo products, Mighty Badges™, and Reusable Name Plates require vector art for printing on all material colors other than white. A high quality bitmap image may be acceptable for these same products if using white material, or for all Digitally Printed Full Color products.
Vector Files: Adobe® Illustrator (.ai), CorelDRAW (.cdr), PostScript (.eps)
Bitmap (Raster) Files: Image Files (.jpg , .gif, .png, .tif, .bmp), Photo-Paint (.ppt), Photoshop (.psd)
Image files that are embedded in a .doc or .pdf file may also be accepted if the embedded file is a vector file or high quality bitmap file.
It is not possible to convert a low quality image into a vector file simply by saving it in a vector format. When this is attempted, the low quality image is simply embedded in the new file and no conversion takes place. It is not possible to change a low quality image to a higher quality one simply by saving it with higher DPI settings. The image will have more dots per inch, but the quality will remain the same or even degrade further.
For your convenience, we offer an artwork clean-up/conversion process for $30 per image. You will be charged for this service even if an order is not completed. You may request the new file be sent to you upon payment of your order. Turn around time is 24 hours and expedited production is not available.
We welcome the use of PMS colors to communicate the colors you would like but do not guarantee a color match.
Production will begin when all information required for your order has been received. Failure to provide lists, artwork or proof approval may delay your order. Production times will vary depending upon product ordered, quantity ordered, and product requirements. Orders received after 11 a.m. (MT) will be processed the next day. Requests for a need by date may be indicated during the check out process. Shipping methods, as available, may be selected once the product has been added to the shopping cart. If necessary, once your order has been placed, a customer service representative will contact you to finalize any production/shipping details to meet your requested date. Additional charges will apply for any expedited needs.
Please visit the reorder page if you have ordered with us before or have any of the following items: a customer number, an existing layout, and/or a previous order number. Placing a reorder will allow for quicker processing, consistency between orders, and a reduction or elimination of the set-up fees required for a new order.
SET-UP FEES: $15 if the design is camera ready high-quality digital art. $30 if Name Tag, Inc. uses the information in this order form to design the ribbon for you.
