A custom layout will be created to your specifications and an electronic proof provided via email prior to production. The top layer of two-ply .06 inch thick plastic is removed by the laser engraver, showing the second color and creating a two color plastic sign.

Custom signs can be any size within the following guidelines.
Minimum size: 20 square inches | Maximum size: 144 square inches.
Maximum Size: 12x12 inches.
Signs under 38 square inches will have the base price adjusted to $14.82.
Smaller signs may be ordered on the Name Plate pages.

Design Requested

We understand that you may not have the tools, time or desire to design your sign -- we are here to help. Our standard set-up fee ($15.00 for 149 sq. inches or less | $25.00 for 150 sq. inches or more) includes up to 30 minutes of art/design time (Most signs require less than the 30 minutes). If additional time is necessary, you will be advised prior to proceeding -- if approved, additional work will be charged at $60.00 per hour.
PRELIMINARY DESIGN: If you have an image or rough idea of the design you are looking for, please email/attach it with your order.

Customer Supplied Art

If you have a design that is ready to be printed, send it to us and you will receive our special set-up pricing of $15.00. Vector art with all text converted to curves is needed for this process. Your art will be reviewed by our designers and if additional work is required, you will be advised of the estimated set-up costs before we proceed with your order.

Enter your text, using upper and lower case letters, as you would like it to appear on the final product. Excessive text or complicated set-up requirements may increase the set-up fee. The standard set-up fee includes up to 30 minutes of art/design time. If additional time is necessary, you will be advised prior to proceeding -- if approved, additional work will be charged at $60.00 per hour.

You may describe what you would like your sign to look like in the instructions box -- include such details as text placement, size and line breaks.

Adhesives can be applied directly to the back of the sign or can be used in conjunction with a sign frame.

DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE — (Included with sign).

MAGNETIC TAPE — Magnet will attach to most metallic surfaces (Add $2.20 per sign).

VELCRO - HOOK SIDE — The hook side Velcro has a sticky adhesive that can be applied directly to the back of the sign. Hook side Velcro will stick to most soft materials, such as a cubicle wall, or can be used in combination with the smooth side Velcro (Add $1.70 per sign).

VELCRO - SMOOTH SIDE — The smooth side Velcro has a sticky adhesive that can be applied directly to most flat surfaces and used with the Hook Side Velcro that may be attached to the sign (Add $1.70 per sign).

VELCRO TAPE (Both Hook and Smooth Sides) — ($3.40 per sign).

Frames are available in black and gray for 2x10, 4x12, 6x12 and 6x6 signs. These sturdy plastic frames give your signs a quality finish and can be mounted with either screws or the strong double-sided tape that are provided with the frames. See the price chart below for sizes and pricing. Signs can also be ordered with pre-drilled holes/screws and no frames for an additional $1.00 per sign.

Proof time + Production time + Shipping = Total time to delivery

Proof - After your order is placed and a properly formatted list of names has been received, a digital proof will be created and emailed to you within 4 business hours -- If changes to the paper proof are requested a new proof will be provided. Production WILL NOT begin until an approved, signed proof is received by Name Tag, Inc.

Production - Once an approved proof has been received, production begins. If the production time and/or the shipping method need to be adjusted to meet your 'need by date' you will be contacted before production begins.

Completed orders (with a signed proof, and a properly formatted list) must be received by 5:30pm Mountain Time, or they will be processed the next day.
