An order is placed which includes instructions on tag layout, your vector or high quality artwork, and preferably the list of variable text for each item you are ordering.
After all artwork, and instructions have been received a proof will be provided for all custom products via email or fax.
The customer may approve the proof or additional changes may be requested. Each revised proof requires additional time (see chart below). Additional charges will be required after the second revision.
We require written approval to begin production, so a copy of the signed proof must be received by fax or as an attachment to an email.
After written approval is received by Name Tag, Inc. production of your product will begin. The charts below show our production times based on the product and quantity you are ordering.
After your order has been produced it will be shipped to you based on the shipping method chosen. |

Name Tag, Inc will ship UPS, via the selected shipping method.
Be sure to select the appropriate shipping method to insure that your product arrives on time.
To guarantee same day shipping, please have your order submitted by 11:00 am, Mountain Time and confirm your order by calling our customer service department at 1-800-272-5729.
Shipping is dependent on product availability -- custom orders may not qualify for same day shipping, please see production charts above for specific products.
Meeting promised delivery dates is the responsibility of the shipping company.

UPS is the standard shipping method used by Name Tag, Inc. for all US shipments

| UPS
UPS is the recommended carrier for Name Tag, Inc. Our order processing software and shipping department are set so all labels are printed directly from the computer address associated with the order. UPS is notified via a direct link over the Internet and customer will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Delivery failures due to circumstances outside of UPS's direct control (weather, traffic, receivers office closed, no one available to sign, etc.) are not guaranteed.
If issues arise during shipping using UPS Name Tag, Inc. will do everything possible to remedy the problem. We have our own UPS account executive who can sometimes correct the shipping method or address while in route. If necessary we may even redo an order (not always possible) so that it can be received when needed. There may be instances when we will use DHL overnight in place of UPS but the same benefits still apply.
USPS
We do not recommended USPS because they do not have individual package tracking for first class and priority mail and arrival times are not predictable. However, for small orders, they are the least expensive. For packages sent by Name Tag and not received we will replace the contents after waiting 30 days to allow for return of the original shipment. If this is not acceptable, use UPS ground or expedited service. For packages sent via the Postal Service at customers request, military addresses and foreign addresses, replacement orders will be at customers expense. These packages will be sent insured, if possible (insurance not available to some countries).

LATE SHIPPING — Name Tag, Inc. uses third party services for shipping and is not responsible for their failures. However, if an expedited shipment (next day, second day, third day) fails to arrive when scheduled contact Name Tag, Inc. for a possible refund of excess shipping fees. Notice MUST be received by Name Tag, Inc. and acknowledged by Name Tag, Inc. within ten days of the failure. Not all shipping failures will qualify for a refund. Exclusions include Acts of God, no one available to receive the package or improper address (such as no suite # even if packages are normally delivered without a suite #).
JOBS NOT SHIPPED WHEN SCHEDULED — Customers MUST inform Name Tag, Inc. in advance if jobs are to be canceled if they cannot be shipped when scheduled due to unexpected problems. This allows Name Tag, Inc. to stop work as soon as it is known that the promised schedule cannot be met. There will be no charge for orders not shipped when planned if Name Tag, Inc. was advised in advance to cancel the order. Otherwise, the order will be completed and shipped or, if canceled, customers will be charged for work done. Once the order ships, the customer is responsible for the order. We will attempt to contact you if problems arise but customers cannot always be reached in a timely manner.
LOST SHIPMENTS — Name Tag, Inc. uses third party services for shipping and is not responsible for their failures. However, products shipped insured will be replaced by Name Tag, Inc. after the shipping company declares the package lost and agrees to pay on the insurance claim. This can take several months. The customer may chose to receive a cash refund. For uninsured packages (only sent via the USPS) Name Tag, Inc. will replace the product four weeks after the original shipment (longer for non US addresses). |
