ID Badge Holder Information:

MAGNETIC BADGE HOLDERS - Attach your badge holder with our extra strong deluxe magnetic fasteners. Buy badge holders with magnets attached. Available in both 2.5x3.5 and 3x4 insert badge holders. Or add the magnetic fastener to any other suitable badge holder.

MATERIAL - Most ID badge holders are made of 8 mil vinyl which is very soft and pliable. Some have a heavier weight vinyl for added strength. The acetate holders are very rigid and load from the side or they can open up by slipping the back out of a fold at the bottom of the front.

RIGID10 mil - Some holders have a special 10 mil vinyl stiffener front or back to make them more rigid. These are actually more rigid than12 mil vinyl. The 10 mil does not add strength, it just makes the holder less flexible. Very popular among those that have used both the 8/8 and R10/8 mil holders.

REINFORCED SLOT - Those with a reinforced slot (sometimes called reinforced header) have a double layer of vinyl across the top half inch where the slot is punched for added strength.

SCREEN PRINTED ID BADGE HOLDERS - Name Tag can print your company name or logo directly onto ID badge holders.

FASTENERS - ID Badge holders can be used with pins, clips, lanyards, chains, elastic cords, magnets, pin/clip combos, pocket (slip in) or whatever else you can imagine. Some badge holders come with fastener attached and other fasteners are purchased separately from our Fastener or Lanyard product pages. ID Badge holders may have multiple fasteners to give users a choice. Fasteners include:

• Slot: ID Badge holder has no fastener attached but has a slot suitable for a clip. Clip might be on the end of a lanyard or a short (1.5 inch) plastic strap.
• Holes: Includes holes for a chain or an elastic cord.
• Magnet: Deluxe extra strong magnetic fastener includes metal bar attached to back of holder with adhesive. Magnet included in price.
• Clip: Swivel bulldog clip riveted to back of the badge holder. Clip has a hole allowing insertion of a chain or for attaching a lanyard. Clip included in price.
• Pin: Similar to a safety pin. Can be removed. Pin included in price.
• Pin/clip combo: Includes clip as described above plus a safety pin. User can select either one. Pin/clip included in price.
• Pocket: Usually a holder that has a double pouch that folds with one pouch sliding into a pocket.
• Chain: 36 inch key chain. Can run through two holes in badge holder or hole in clip. Purchased separately.
• Clip on a Strap: Swivel bulldog clip attached to a 1.5 inch long plastic strap. The strap goes through a slot in the badge holder and the clip can be attached to clothing most anywhere and always hangs straight. When combined with the option of a lanyard, they give the user a considerable amount of flexibility. A great choice. Purchased separately.
• Elastic Cord: 30 inch elastic cord with barbs. Runs through two small holes in corner of badge holder and the barbs hold it in place. Barbs can also go through the hole in the bulldog clip. Very lightweight and easy to use. Purchased separately.
• Lanyard: 36 inch flat or round woven nylon strip for hanging around neck with a J hook or a swivel clip attached to the end. Attaches to badge holder by a) J hook going through slot in the badge holder, b) J hook going through hole in a clip, c) swivel bulldog clip fastening to slot. Purchased separately.
• Imprinted Lanyard: Like lanyard described above with your company imprint. Purchased separately.

PAPER INSERTS - Print the names on 8.5x11 inch perforated paper using your computer. 67 pound card stock makes for a nice firm card to insert into any badge holder. Eight 2.25x3.5 inch or six 3x4 inch tags per page. Have your logo printed on every insert.
