Needs Reworking
When sending artwork to Name Tag, Inc. for engraving or hot-stamping, it is vital that the image be of high quality. While a jpeg image of your artwork may look great on the Internet, this same file is usually not acceptable for engraving or hot stamping. Usually low quality image formats, such as jpegs and gifs, contain rigid, uneven outlines that result in unsatisfactory engraving or hot-stamping. |

Vector Graphic - Recommended
For the best results, we recommend submitting all artwork as camera-ready, vector files with all text converted to curves or outlines. Name Tag, Inc. defines camera-ready as artwork that can be edited with programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Corel without any additional work. As a vector image, each line of the artwork can be individually manipulated, therefore greatly reducing the possibilities of color bleeding and blurry borders during the hot-stamping or engraving process. If however, an image has to be retraced, redrawn, or reworked in any fashion by a graphic designer Name Tag, Inc. will contact you directly about the need to clean/convert your artwork. |

Acceptable for Full Color Printing
Name Tag, Inc. accepts color specifications in hard copy or by Pantone Matching System (PMS) Colors only. Name Tag, Inc. will make reasonable efforts to match the specified color, however limitations of the printing process preclude exact matches. The color of stamped logos, engraved letters and surfaces are limited to available materials. If requested, products will be made based on colors embedded in computer image files or general verbal specifications. However, Name Tag, Inc. makes no warranty whatsoever as to the acceptability of the final colors. Variations in materials, stamping foils, printer ribbons, equipment, and environmental factors preclude any guarantee of color consistency from lot to lot or even item to item within the same lot. Name Tag, Inc. reserves the right to review and decline any art file. |
